How much drag is normal on new front disc brakes on a 1979 FJ40?
Everything (calipers, solenoids, and pads) was replaced a few hundred miles ago.
The discs are clean, smooth, no pitting or grooves.
The brakes are not overheating.
I have the front end jacked up. When I spin the wheel, I can hear the pads dragging, not squeaking or squealing. The wheel will spin about 2.5 revolutions before stopping.
Does this seem normal?
