How does the LC200 ride compared to the wife’s gx460 luxury?

Just as smooth if not smoother? The ride on her gx is one of the smoothest I’ve ever driven for an suv.

Haven't driven a Lc200, but I did drive a GX460 and immediately after a Lx570. The LX was smoother, noticeably more powerful, and more comfortable.

I'm in and out of both GX Luxury and LX daily. While my wife refuses to admit I have the better car, she concedes the ride is much better on the LX. I know that doesn't answer your question about the LC, but I test drove a lot of LC's and I thought they had a great factory ride...Better than the GX-L.

I’ve been meaning to go test drive but just have not had the time. Also need the drive a Toyota badged vehicle rather then a “lexus” for business reasons.

2016 200 and 2018 GX Luxury here and in stock form we both prefer the 200. I imagine she'll replace the GX with an LX if she doesn't end up sizing down to something else.

2018 LC and 2020 GX Premium

Not sure how you define ride. I def like Lc because
LC feels and drives more solid
Higher quality materials
More power
8sp transmission much better than GX 6sp (hunting/picking)
Better steering feel
More comfortable
More under the radar
Could list much more

There’s a long bump road that leads to my neighborhood and I noticed the gx pretty much glides over them.
So in terms of smoothness over bumpy roads I guess.

Can't speak for the LC, but the GX is epically plush and smooth. What I notice with the 200-series (LX) is that by virtue of its added mass and wider track, there's more mass damping of NVH and less side to side motions. Of course it's a higher end build and materials so that's going to work to its advantage. I do enjoy the GX at times for its added agility in the city.

We have a 2014 GX lux and a well used 08 200. I like them both, but her GX in my situation drives smaller, narrower, stiffer and a bit more luxurious. I prefer the extra width and power on the 200, but GX would be my 2nd choice if I didn’t have a 200.
