How do set cameras to turn on automatically when slowing down to a stop? 19 LC

Some of you have mentioned this. I can't for the life of me figure out where to do this in settings?

I don't think you can do automatically. It comes on in reverse or when you are in 4LO. You can engage by pressing dash button

May depend on model year but mine did this (2013) u til I got it back from the dealer who did some work. I haven’t tried to figure out how to set it back but I’m sure it’s possible.

When stopped hit the camera button. Down at the bottom there is an option to select AUTO. Hit that and it'll turn on when stopped.

When you're stopped, press the camera button on the dash below and to the right of you instrument cluster. Then with the camera images displayed on your screen, touch the icon in the lower left of the display. This icon toggles between automatic display and manual.

I turned it off because too distracting because cameras will come on at every stop light/sign.

Go to options on the map, and select “Map Mode”. The next screen allows you to choose single or split screen. The “Map Information” button allows you to choose whether to display POIs, etc.

Auto is kinda fun until you are on a trip and it keeps kicking that NAV scren off. Drives me nuts when in an area I'm not familiar with!

POIs still are shown on half the screen as an upcoming exit list even in full screen mode

You have to change it while on the highway...no more exit list.

Yes, change to “Map Only” mode while on the highway. “Freeway Exit List” mode option isn’t available to change until you are on the freeway.

The LX has this but had no idea it wasn't a setting for TLC. That's a bummer - I find it really useful.

Jesus Christ how the hell did you find that out? I read both manuals multiple times and that nuance of accessible menus and highways was not on there.....

This thread motivated me to keep trying different things. Definitely counter intuitive and it’s annoyed me for months.
