On another note - how do you keep map full screen without showing upcoming exits/POIs on highways?
Go to options on the map, and select “Map Mode”. The next screen allows you to choose single or split screen. The “Map Information” button allows you to choose whether to display POIs, etc.

The LX has this but had no idea it wasn't a setting for TLC. That's a bummer - I find it really useful.

This thread motivated me to keep trying different things. Definitely counter intuitive and it’s annoyed me for months.Jesus Christ how the hell did you find that out? I read both manuals multiple times and that nuance of accessible menus and highways was not on there.....
