how different are the mounts from a 95 and an 89

i found a cheap winch bumper for a 95 toyota, but i have an 89 4runner, and common sense tells me they are different, but if all i have to do is weld new mounts to it or something simple, it would be pretty cool, but how will it line up with the body on my 89 4runner?
this is the specimine i'm talking about, what do you all think?

I may be wrong, but that sure looks like a bumper from Front Range Off Road, I have one on my '87, customized for a 1" body lift.

It looks to me like somebody bent the side wings in to match the rounded nose of the 2nd gen 4Runner. In theory, it should bolt right on to your '89, but I wouldn't bet on it without test fitting it.

For some reason the FROR website doesn't show their front bumper anymore, maybe they don't sell them anymore. I REALLY like mine, very well made.

Should bolt up to the frame ok, how the fit would be to the grill and fenders is the question....

FYI, if it does bolt up, it's easy to bend the wings back. Some lady hit me (in her nice new Lexus RX) a couple of years ago, bent one side of my bumper in, but that bumper saved my truck from being totalled, I'm sure. I bent it back by spooling out my winch, thru a snatch block strapped to a tree, then back to the bumper. A few gentle careful tugs and it was back straight again.

cool, he isn't too far from me, so i guess it'll be worth the drive to find out how it'll look. I sent FROR an email the other day and they said they were not making that bumper anymore, it does look pretty similar, and I heard good things.

yea, i noticed the bends on the ebay bumper, but I had thought they were from the factory, it looks like they were bent with a bit of consideration seeing as how they are even on both sides and all that....that's odd.....
