Hey Rigger, what you'd be taking off the 25? Did you have a chance to check out the frame? It looks decent enough to drop an 'F' in, and other early 40 parts, to get her up and going again. Once she's running you can sit back and enjoy her, or keep hunting down the 25 stuff she's missing...I would not part her out...but that's just my .02
Anyone passing through MT on their way to VT, upstate NY, or best case Montreal? If so I'd just take her as is, if the ride isn't too expensive...could always use a spare everything I guess
I am not in a rush though, so keep that as a last case if no one steps up.
Actually, truth be told, the guys here in the 25 group are class acts all the way, and I was lucky enough to meet great people here (like, John, Phil, Mike, and Jim...who's help, guidance, and advice I completely appreciate...just to name a few) that have offered to trade, or sell to me, some of the really big 25 items I'll really need.
Thanks guys

Dean

I still remember driving all the way to the Oregon coast to pickup my second FJ25 with a set of disk brake wheels and tires only to find out they wouldn't fit. Ended up using the best of the dry rotted bias tires to flat tow it back to Phoenix. Then used them again to tow it to the cabin. Funny all four tires are still holding air.
