How can you tell if it's a '25?

The FJ25 looked happy to be out of that boneyard!

Great job! At least it will be used for something now, hate to see any parts go to waste? :)

So Phil, watcha going to do with all those 25's? I've lost count.

Not too many parts, it looks like this one was parted out a long time ago, though it was only in this yard for a year or so. Frame is pretty gosh darn good, body fair, looks like it was tipped on it's right side at one time...

So Jim, I thought it was your job to keep track of all these rigs, like, how many are accounted for now.

Nine:eek:....I think, to the best of my recolection...

It doesn't look like it, but it was way cold and wet, granular rain. Not the best day to be in a junkyard. They had just crushed out and were thinking of another round, I was kinda thinking about going back for one of the 40s, only a little under a thousand miles. Rigger and Reese, newest members of the Mutant 25 Rescue Power Rangers (MT Chapter) are smiling because this rig will not be in their yard.

The turn signal switch is broken at the mount, stalk is broken and "repaired"...steering wheel cracked and missing chunks, someone tried to remove it in the past and used a hammer on the steering column end, mashed the threads. so they tried to get the pittman arm off and get the whole column...and mashed the threads on the steering box.

My consolation prize is a turn signal flasher thing

You can tell by the patina that this crime scene is old. This is the first battery tray I've ever seen, anybody know if it is original? Maybe I'll look in my parts book....

Frame is nice for the most part.

What to do with it? I dunno...I sure did enjoy the trip though. Archie has dibs on the steering wheel, turn signal, and gas cap (it's stock, but tore up), still want em? The rest can sit till someone needs a frame or body, they are too nice to scrap. I'll probably keep the axles and see if the thirds are any good...I sure don't have enough, might need em someday.

Dang, someone really wanted that steering................

Well the battery tray is original, so that was worth the trip. :D It always amazes me when the frames still have the original paint on them.

I'll say like Jim...that thing is how old...and still looks that good...wow!

Makes you kind of wonder where it's been all these years, being so nice and all, just to end up sitting all parted out...what a shame.

Great rescue!

'Number of the beast' !?! Somehow I did not picture you as an Iron Maiden fan :D

Stevie Ray...now your talking!
