How can check if 2F is good?

So I was able to save:


Thermostat housing if you can save the threads
Valve cover
Carb
Oil cooler and bracket
Motor mounts
Dual pulley
Fan
Intake manifold
Everything else was shot!

I'm keen on that dual water pump pulley but I'm in Australia dammit....
 
I am guessing the head is cracked. Mine cracked between #1 and #2 and it would build up condensation/sludge in that same location, which started corrosion on the rocker arms. I would speculate he PO just kept running without oil changes until it died.
 
Make a coffee table out of the block (pistons for legs) and a mailbox post with the crank!!
