how bad is it? its friggin terrible! depends how long its lunch break was and how hard you made it work after you caught it napping under the tree. There are different levels of buggered for things like this.

How bad is it depends on how much money in your savings and how badly you need the cruiser, LOL.

You lower the chance 50% if you happen to have a perfect spare in the garage.

To get the rear axles out you fully just have to undo the bolts on the axle on the back and just slide the bastard out. And thats all there is to it. I think you need a puller to get the inner race out.

what about the cone washers, i found them after i snapped my grade 8 bolt trying to twist them out in that threaded part on the hub...

now the stupid cone washers wont come out

thats not how to do it , hit the end of the studs with a hammer and brass bar, or hit around the hub(brass hamer) or both and they will pop off, 1st loosen the nuts so the washer don't fly off into never never land

yeah i worded that wrong... i didn't know about the cone washes, that's how i snapped the bolt... now i still can't get the cone washes out.

those studs are a lot looser in the threads than you would think, so hitting them hard repeatedly (2-5times) with a drift is the shiz, just make sure that you hit them square, else they will bend really easily, and you will need a trip to the wreckers.

got them, mate came over and gave em a couple of whacks (pretty much what i was doing) but they popped 1st go for him.
