Has anyone replaced the hood support shocks on there 100? Are these pretty basic or do I need a yota part. The new to us 00 has very weak supports and they need replacing.

Thanks,

Very easy to replace.

The OEM ones are something like $55/ea at the smart shopper rate. Firetruck41 found some aftermarket hood struts for $25/ea. Looks like there is currently a 10% off sale too!

If you want OEM. The part numbers:
53440-69025
53450-69025

Thanks for posting my thread about these, Hoser. I received them very quickly and they work perfectly.

I remember this one in particular because I could have saved $60+ if I had waited an extra day!

I'm off to Pismo, have a good weekend all!
