I got a letter from my homeowners association. I guessing they can not see the potential of my fj40 project in my driveway. I have to the 17th of January to move it to the back yard again. I took off this coming week to work on it anyway. So if there any GA Cruisers that would like to help drop me a PM. I plan on finishing the cross member and putting on the SOA kit.

what do ya need help with? moving it or gettin' it mobile enoug before the 17th.

I'm out of pocket next weekend and today, might be able to help one day during the week.

I have been there before and had to pay a few fines tot boot!
We had one old ladynwho onwned a few town homes who "patrolled" the neighborhood. I got a big laugh one day when I let our 90 pound lab out and he promptly ran over to her plav
Ce and in through her open front door to greet her in her bathrobe.
Man did I get an earful and never ending complaints that my dog crapped everywhere!

LOL!

I will need help with getting the lift on so I can measure for drive shafts. once the drive shafts are on I can clam it is not a non drivable vehicle. I will need help moving it into the backyard at the end of the week. I will start working on it Monday. Thank you for the replies.

I can probably lend you a hand on Friday after 11:00 am. Let me know.

I got the rear almost mocked up. The Toyota mounts are pain to remove. I think that I will end up with 8 inches of lift. I found some rusted out frame in the rear and had to box the ends and make some new plates for the shackle hanger in the rear. I should get away with using the stock rear driveshaft the front will need to be longer now.

Thank you for all the replies for help. Hey John thank you for the heads up on the ground for the plasma. That made cutting the old stuff faster. I got a good head of steam working on the front this morning. Then around lunch time I had to pick up my son with a stomach bug and work had to stop. hopefully it will be a 24 hr bug and I can finish up this week.

This happened to me once too. The problem I had was that mine WAS in the backyard! Someone would have had to trespass to have seen it yet I'm the one who's breaking the rules??? They gave me 5 days to get rid of it on the notice... The notice was put on the front door which no one ever goes through... So I ended up with 1 day after finding it. I feel that trespassing is a much bigger crime than "uncovered outside storage" though. But that's just me.

Good luck with it. I'm in TN now or I'd be happy to help.

I tough I would post up some pictures of the SOA. I did not get to put the 37 tires on so these are with the 33 tires. I will post up pictures with the 37s later. I will be moving the fj on sunday so any cruisers would like to help or come by and pay dues for the club:) call me 404 five one two 2989. I got 8 inches of lift and some good flex.
