Holley Vs. Webber 38/38

I am currently running a Holley on my 1979 FJ40 (with no preformance problems off road)and was given the chance to buy a webber 38/38 for $100.00 bucks (which I did) . I get like between 15-20mpg with the holley and I have no clue what the webber wold get. Now for the debate, I am wondering which I should run, anyone care to share their opinion.

so, the truck is running now? AND getting pretty good milage? WITH little or problems offroad?

are you the type of person that enjoys "fixing" something till it really is broke?

i would stick with what you have now. i could only dream of mileage like that with my weber. and it really doesn't like inclines above curb height....

15-20 mpg is pretty amazing with any setup. I'm with Brian, if it works don't fawk with it.

the weber would probably get around the same mileage, definitely not too much better, or we'd all be runnin em, ha ha

also, the 'no-problems' part would lead me to sell the weber for a profit and get that wiring harness you need

LOL ya I do need a Stock harness, damm me for being dumb enough to let the self proclaimed "Redneck Wireing God" rewire a perfectly good FJ40 and install a 18 circut painin the ass harness using slip on connectors. The only reason I got the 38/38 was because I wanted to adapt a snorkle easly. Anyone have a segestion on how to adapt it to a Holley?

Keep the holley and get a adapter to run one of the tube type aircleaners. They have a standard 6" (I think) carb intake flange.

Don't fix what aint broke..
