@OTBT and @Sweatyforehead , we were just about to the end of the road yesterday where I took these pictures. These were taken summer a few years ago went up with a friend's family. Blueberries are good up there in Aug/Sept. This would be an easy drive for most vehicles in summer.
This was taken just above where we were yesterday. This is facing South towards Olympic Peninsula.
This was taken after a short hike to the top of the mountain (on Kludahk trail). This is facing North up island. First valley is San Juan River. Furthest mountains are beyond Cowichan Lake.
There are a few of these cabins along that trail. It's a very popular snoe shoe destination in the winter.

Black ones were huckleberry and blue were blueberry. Both tasted fantastic. Wild ones are so much better than cultured.
