Utes do have a bit more cool factor than troopys and also as a general plenty less rusty I guess due to less body parts

..."cool factor"....I like that and unlike my LJ78, everyone down here will not think its an Isuzu or Mitsubishi.

well, maybe cool to some but to me i find a decked out troopy to be way more cool.
(probably since i have owned my share of the 75 series pickups)

Perhaps as a result of owning so many 70 Series you have become somewhat jaded ( in a good way of course) however because they are more rare than honest politicians here in the States we think they are all cool. Its simply a matter of wanting what you can't have. ........1978HJ45

in that case i want a Mega Cruiser...

Is that not the result of Land Cruiser / Hummer mating gone terribly wrong?:):) ........................1978HJ45

it is a useless design for my lifestyle so it would be a "Owned one, wheeled it, drove it and this is what i don't like about it" experience. a troopy fits my life style much better, and someday i will have one for myself.

the Mega is Toyota saying to GM, "yah, interesting design. but . we can make it better". and the reports are Toyota succeeded.

I hear it has a 2L-TE. :) ...............1978HJ45
(Actually there is room under the hood for two 2L-TE's)
