Hey, I recently bought a HJ45 to refurbish. I'm currently trying to convert it to disc brakes. It's got a H motor with 4 speed gearbox. I recently bought a wreck HJ75 series. Was just wondering if the whole front diff with disc brake set up and 2H motor with 5 speed gearbox and rear diff will fit? Also any other advice with will be greatly appreciated.

2H motor with 5spd will fit. We just test fitted this very thing on our HJ45. Using HJ47 engine mounts and 2F engine rubber isolaters, it fit in without having to modify the OEM frame mounts.

see last posts on this thread.

I think the 70 series axle is the right width for the hj45. You may need to move your spring perches a tad. About an inch as I recall. There are threads on Mud. Google.

I put 70 series axels under my 45 after relocating the perches. I’m very pleased with fitment and stance.

got any pics of what you did possibly? Is it just the perches?

I’m seeing different replies, some say no mods, some say yes...
