Nice work, I left some welding to do it later and that is now: 3 years later and stuff that looked fine is now rusting trough.
I wish I had done that when I was working on it.
I think it is better to replace shock studs with new bolts and metal tube over the thread, while in there...
If you reuse the old ones that might work but drilling new thread trough and bolt/weld on should be good for a long time?
The stuff I welded properly (for me, not for a professional

) is still brand new and does not look like 5 years ago.
(cutting, making pieces, welding, grinding, spraying: it all takes so much time)
So if you feel you want to run away just finish it properly because you will never have to do it again.
