Hey all!

Ive been having some issues with my HJ60 that just started happening today. Truck was running great until it wasn't.

I was stopped at a light and when I went to accelerate it felt like the truck was hesitating but then it drove normal again. This continued to happen and get worse and worse until one point I had the pedal to floor just to get through a stoplight.

It had the same feeling like the truck was starving of fuel. When I got home I pulled the sedimenter and fuel filter and all seemed clean and good. All injectors were tight and all crush washers were replaced last year.

I'm wondering if its a lift pump failure? I put some clear line between the hard line from the tank to the inlet on the lift pump and there are no bubbles that come through when I work the hand pump so I feel like that rules out an air leak from the tank. When I open the bleed nipple and pump the hand primer the diesel doesn't come out as a steady stream, it's very foamy and lots of air comes out as I prime it. The hand primer was also replaced last year as well. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Crack you fuel filter bleed nipple and see if a steady stream comes out when hand priming. Those hand priming pumps are known to leak.
