HJ60/61 Advice

I turn in my '14 6-speed jetta wagon on saturday to the dealership. Replacing it with a 1HZ troopy haha. I originally was looking for an HJ61 w/ H55 to import to replace my VW. Not many turbo diesel / 4x4 / manual transmission options here in the states.
I would agree with some comments before in here though that if you want toyota diesel find a nice original HJ61 and keep it that way... or buy a good FJ60/62 body with a blown or dying motor and swap whatever diesel you want in there. Good luck!

You may also want to talk to @SteveJackson and @joekatana. Steve brings in super clean JDM trucks. Joe mostly gets Northern European trucks. They will be able to help direct you in your decision making process.

@NetJunky has a great-looking left-hand drive 1HD-T 80 for sale, if you could handle an 80 series instead of a 60 series.

Personally, the 60 series is just about perfect in terms of its drivability, visibility, and capability. It just feels right to me.
