I'm away from my troopy "old Yella" at the moment :frown:, but I will post the VIN as soon as I get home!

She's a 1981 HJ47, RHD, with an extra passenger side door (and I have many plans for her :D)

Registry is on first post

Just a quick Bump with a reminder that all the vehicles are listed on the first post. I was also thinking: would it be interesting to have each person on this list post a pic of the rig as well? Anyone interested can attach it to the post they sent with their info.

Cheers,

Josh

I made the awning and the tent came with the cruiser it attaches to the roof rack with neat rods and is very neat, My friend Norris and I just made the single bed into a double so my girlfriend and dog can sleep nice and comfortable. The cruiser has a propane opetated frige and a safe with a compo, assorted compartments and a mess of other neat additions. Hope you like it. Oh just a little history of the cruiser,it was the rangers at Ayers rock and she had it since new, then the guy I bought it from had it for 19years and his daughter learned to drive with this cruiser also they went on many camping trips His name is Lee Pisch, and he has only I child,a girl who is now a women. Here is the funny part I have just one child a girl who is now a young women, and my girlfriends name Is Lynn Pisch. How is that for a ment to be. I have big plans for this cruiser like 5 speed and I will change the diff to 3.73 and a weber and headers plus a slight lift and I might cut a whole in the roof and put my Westfalian top on it,so we can stand up in it, but I also want to keep the rack. I have a lot to figure out

I'm still waiting on getting a full cage put in the troopy before I actually pick it up, but I ended up just getting my plates at the DMV yesterday, so it is fully mine...

Currently registered in Virginia, but came from Australia...rhd

strever,

Do you still have the Aussie compliance plate? That should have the month/date of manufacture on it. I would bet dollars to doughnuts that yours was made in 8 or 9 of 84, by the VIN. But given it is listed as an 82, I thought I would put George's as the newest. Do you have disk brakes?

Cheers,

Josh

Josh
where is the Aussie compliance plate located?
