Wanted Hj45 Water pump housing.

As the title states I'm looking for a water pump housing for a H diesel build date 11/1978.
Toyota part number 16100 49267.
These housings are no longer available here in Australia.
Any help much appreciated!..

A picture is worth a thousand. I am not sure I have that. I think what I have is the actual water pump that fits into that housing. It's been many years since I had my HJ, and my stash of extras is pretty thin. i'll try and remember to have a look next time I'm at the warehouse.

There is three version of this housing fitted to the H diesel, this one being the most common one in the years of production.
The later version fitted to the last of the hj45's built in late 1979 to about August 1980 is different as is the cast iron version fitted to the HU 15 Dyna trucks.

Assuming your old housing is aluminum, you should not dispose of it. If need be, it can be repaired. I used a tig spool gun to fatten up a 50 year old thermostat housing, mostly just to see if it could be done. It worked just fine.

I think I found one in a housing in the warehouse on Thursday. There's no power/lights in there, but I'm pretty sure it was a W/P, and it wasn't for an F motor.

Thank you. I should have specified with a little detail, but it needs to fit the 1973-1984 series 3.6 Liter H diesel motor, not the 2H 4 liter.
Just thought I'd mention in case you have a way to check or take a photo. much appreciated. I need the full water pump in housing, but it's a much smaller unit than the one pictured above. Thanks for whatever you can provide. If it's a match, I'll buy it. Rebuilt, new or original old used? A new one from ebay AU for $50 bucks is a great deal but waiting on shipment from Australia is not. so you are 818 near LA I take it.. N

I am sure I have a pump w/o housing. From my '76HJ I sold about 7years ago. I'd want $50 for the used pump, and I have a $100 minimum order policy.

thanks. Well, I'm not sure I'll need the housing until I take the old leaky pump off.
Also, I could use both side mirrors... and a right/passenger door panel. ??

This pump fits 1/1975 to 4/1980 H diesel, might be a good idea to take some measurements when you remove your pump.
A pump of these dimensions will not suit H diesel built after 4/1980.
