HJ45 wants a PTO

Hey! I like the way you think! I'm hoping to do the same with my HJ-45 within the next year...

I see that cruiserparts has a PTO Winch for about $1300. That's about the price range I'm budgeting for. You need the PTO unit for the transmission, the shift linkage, the driveshaft and the winch itself (plus the bracketry for this stuff).

Definitely keep us (or at least me :) ) posted on what you find.

I got a Ramsey that I hope to someday upgrade(?) to an original unit.

I also have a couple PTO's and brackets, Drivelines..etc. I'm looking for about $1000 for a setup...One is off a 78 and the other off a 75 FJ40..They will pull you up a tree.

Anyone know of the PTO setup for the HJ45 (H) would be the same for an '81 HJ47 (2H)?

It depends on the transfer case. If they both have a split case then yes and if they both have a single piece case then yes but if one is a split case and one is a single piece case then NO!
 
I've got a full- PTO setup for a '74 FJ40 I was considering selling. PM me if you're interested. Shipping isn't a problem.
 
No PMs on my PTO.......Guess its going in the for sale spot....then onto ebay :)
