Hello everybody, long time lurker, but now comes a question that made me finally make an account. I have recently become the new owner of a beautiful 1980 hj45 troopy. She is an RHD imported from Australia. I have been meticulously going through everything to get all dash components wired up/installed and have come across these holes to the left of my dash. Id like to replace whatever is missing, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what was there at one time. Obviously its not an oem situation, so any suggestions would be more than welcome.

This is a great resource to have as far as components and locations! Thanks for passing it along. Still so curious about those aftermarket holes drilled to the left of my glovebox though. I was thinking maybe some kind of cb radio setup but I haven't seen anything remotely similar.

Mine has defrosters on both driver and passenger side. I’ve never pulled it off to look at the holes, but probably right it does look pretty small for an airway.
I believe the OP’s is right hand drive. So opposite end of the dash if I’m understanding correctly.
My vote is if Chamba doesn’t know then it can’t be known :)

Not even close to the right size.
