yes please - if you can share the pic - also which kind of difflock it is ? LSD or rear? thanks.. maybe your manual says something...

A center diff-lock only locks the output shafts that come out of the gearbox, this only means that the front and rear axles turn at the same speed (50/50 drive split between front & rear), the actual front and rear diffs are still open, its helpful if you get one wheel up in the air, but get cross axles and your just as helpless as everyone else. Thats when you need full diff lock on your front and rear axles.

An LSD (limited slip diff) works in a different way and isn't quite useful as a locker.

Thanks nomad - ill check this out on 2012 winch model !

Hello desert nomad; great pics of your vehicle; in your travels have you come across any LX570 with factory winch? I have seen some photo of a land cruiser but not LX thanks

Hey Nomad, & other GCC mod'ers !

Another query. Well actually quite a few :-$

-How much did you pay for flares at AEV?
- its comes in different colors?
- I'm thinking of buying them and hand-carrying them back to Saudi?!? You think installation is painless?
- do you guys recommend may be another vendor in Dubai for flares?
- I got a quote from ARB Dubai for LC200 lift kit, old man brand for 4500AED+600AED fitting. Any other better option? based on your experiences !? I heard good about bilstein? Amateur in this matter :-)
- Aux Battery setup : any body doing out there in Dubai? saw some cool examples on aussie forums!

Appreciate everyone's input
Cheers
Mjkr!

Did you look into ARB air lockers ?

I checked the arb lockers. But I think these will be simpler and less chance of something going wrong as well as it fits into the original diff housing so won't be detected and raised as a warranty issue.

Maujkar fender flares were for1, 800 AED, http://www.aev.ae/bushwacker-oe-style-fenders-land-cruiser-08-10_1_259.html

It comes in black Matt and you can paint it. Instructions are fairly simple minor modification might be needed to fit around side steps or chrome garnish on door. Most importantly is to make sure the door trim pieces bond properly to the door ssh mine nearly flew off on the high way.

Regarding ome I fit the sport shocks and springs for 4, 0000 and 600 for fitting but the original springs I put in the rear (A2720) didn't fit properly and swapped them for (A2721)

No I've only seen a landcruiser with a winch once. Never seen an lx with one.

Did you get a dual battery setup for these spots?
cheers

No dual setup, each spot takes 27watts and I don't have most electronic additions ssh sets heaters traction or crawl control. The fuse box had a lot of empty areas where the relays go so guessing it won't be too much load on the battery, or at least I'm hopping it won't.

No idea about exhaust systems. I think there's a company called Midwest that did one and have a video on YouTube.

Over here I can get an exhaust system easily they're usually cat-backs but I don't know if imported or fabricated locally. I might get one in the future.

Could you get a shot of the forward illumination range of these lights? it looks like they wont show whats directly in front of you but rather whats further out at a distance.

Light range is a bit further and this is with just the spots on. I'll get better pics in a wider area first with the headlights then headlights and spots.

These are from yesterday's trip out

I kept looking at the pic trying to figure out which park in SHJ has trees and a fence like that.
