Had to find a place for a second battery. A group 31 is a big 70 pound mother. I don't like drilling new holes or welding on this original pig so I have to find ways that don't change the integrity of the primodonna. This is what I came up with.

That is a clean solution to the two battery dilemma in a pig..

Are you building all the parts yourself? If so that’s some well thought-out and executed fab work!!

I hope Gordobe shares the whole pig. Aside from the front and rear cattle catch bumpers it is scary how original and clean it is. LOTS of chrome bits on it with lots of effort gone into keeping it :)

Gordobe’s pig is very original and super clean, Gordobe is a mad man and can make this pig dance, we were lucky enough to have Gordobe and his pig with our group last year at the cruiser fest Moab run and to watch him drive this pig through some of the areas we traveled would and should put a smile on every pig owners face..

I have been following this forum for a while and am humbled by all the passion, imagination and creative juices that this group shares so freely. I have recently begun to participate and appreciate everyone's camaraderie. What a great bunch of pig lovers.

Regarding the "cattle catchers" Lil'John mentioned. In the early 70's when I built my first heavy duty bumper, in Mexico they were called tumba-burro, I ran into an Aussie and he called them a Roo-bar. Being as I was raised in California I called it my bicycle deflector. Probably not politically correct today but let's not bring politics into the equation. Anyway I'm on a mission to put original bumpers back on my mistress pig.

Solenoid from Frontrunner in Thousand Oaks. Yes I got the controller, the surface mount variety. Velcroed it on the ac evaporator cover. It has the 5 min delay and the override. So far it functioned just like it is supposed to. It defiantly protects your starter battery
