HF Timing Light

Anyone used this HF timing light?
Xenon Timing Light

I ask because I've bought some stuff at HF that is great, and some that sucked. Would rather not waste $15 plus ship and the time to wait on it if it will be a POS.

Works fine, just not particularly bright. Have used it on bright sunny days with no cloud cover, sun pretty much straight overhead, could still see the timing (if barely). If you're using it in a garage or in the shade, that wouldn't be an issue at all.

Good deal. I rarely need one, but I need one now and would rather buy for $20 than borrow.

Don't get the more expensive one with the timing adjust. People hate it. Too easy to bump the adjust, then you are setting your timin wrong.

Autozone has them as part of their free "tool loan" program. If you need one right now I'd do that. Then keep an eye out at yard sales and such. With the popularity of EFI, you can find high quality ones for $10 or less.
