I DID IT!!!

Gages work and got all lights to work :) Well, couldn't get the oil gage to move but I think it's broken - but the others work. I'm going to take it out and play with it before I ditch it.

The ground is the white/black wire on the round plug.

The ground for the high beam indicator is on the OTHER plug - white/black wire you can see to the LEFT in the original picture.

Thank you! Thank you!!:beer::beer::beer:

Now I need to replace the oil gage - Napa or Toyota?? Easy to find one that will fit in my cluster??

Anyone want to tackle the amp meter??

I can't believe it, I'm making progress!!!:bounce::bounce::cheers:

The amp meter wiring is simple:
Run 2 18 ga wires from the amp meter + and - lugs to the battery. Both wires need a 5 amp in line fuse. The + wire attaches to the battery end of the fusible link. The - wire attaches to the other end of the fusible link. done.

How is the alternator output wired?

If the Toyota oil gauge still deflects when you ground the sender wire, then just get another sender.
