My home has the laundry room in the center of the home not against an exterior wall. The dryer vent goes down under a two car garage concrete and out the back of house at just below ground level.
Does putting pvc pipe to turn it up and then bring up a few feet seem like a good solution?
It fills with water a couple times a year from gutter over floor on roof above and the dryer lint has no way to exit. I spent a good bit of time cleaning out with a brush tool and leaf blower yesterday but a flash flood filled it back up today. It has a screen that fits in the circular pvc and then I put a flat piece of screen on top off hole to make sure nothing crawls in
