Replacing my tie-ends. Can't seem to get the ends into the knuckle; is there a trick or brute force?
The other tie-ends slipped in perfectly. Checked the length of the bolt against the old ones and they are the same.

problem solved!! I was inserting it the wrong way!! feel like a real idiot especially since I took photo's of everything before I started.
