I picked up a '76 FJ40 a few months ago. Mechanically it runs well but has rust. I decided to strip it down, put new seats and brackets in, take off all glass (except windshield), roof, and doors. I just finished stripping it today.

I have both passenger doors, both ambulance doors, and all of the glass from the top. I had to split the top due to the previous owner rhino lining everything, half the bolts being stripped, and rust making it impossible to get a lot of the bolts out. I have the inside door panels for both driver/passenger side doors. All of the exterior was rhino lined.

What am I looking at value wise? I really don't care if I get top dollar and I'd rather not watch it rot outside. Moving it quickly is more important to me than getting as much as possible.

It looks like the hardtop sides are toast.
The front doors look like like they missing a couple inches off the bottom.
The bottom of the rear doors not look to be in any better condition.
How bad is the tub?

Tub has plenty of rust, but it's serviceable for an FJ that's just going to be used in the spring/summer.

I have a 72 fj 40 in need of an "e brake" handle and set up under the dash if you have the item.
