This is your TLCA delegate reporting.....

You may recall I discussed some time ago and at the meetin g that Capital land cruisers are making a FJ40 to be raffled off and proceeds going to TLCA. Here is the updated list of what they need to finish up. I am going to donate some things and we are hoping that you can look into your parts bins and help them push to finish this up. I marked in RED what I have to donate. If we can get all this stuff together, I will ship it.

Thanks for your continued support of TLCA.

Kelly

TAC,

Hey guys and girls, I'm Tracy from Capital Land Cruiser Club (CLCC). Thanks for offering to help us complete the TLCA 1977 FJ40 Raffle Truck.

We had a good workday on the truck today, and narrowed the parts list to make it easier for you and other TLCA clubs to focus on what's most necessary to finish this project.

Priority items are:

front turn signal indicators

seat covers (frame and foam is good on both; gray vinyl--PS is
very good condition but DS is poor condition)

windshield washer bottle w/pump motor

coolant overflow bottle

Land Cruiser emblems for DS and PS aprons

carburetor fan

brake pedal light switch

voltage regulator

If you have these parts and are willing to donate them, or to pitch-in towards buying them, please coordinate with Kelly.

thanks,

Tracy

Here's my pile of parts ready to go. Anyone else have anything to add?

I got a message that they have an alternator that has not been confirmed working, but we should wait on it.

In my box are.....new turn lights, one rear light cover, dash plate, radio (needs knobs from radio shack), cig lighter new, voltage regulator, and the brake light switch.

Guys---yeah hold off on the alternator and the brake light switch (we have an alternator on it, and Marshall (aka TrollHole Cruisers) is donating a brake light switch).

This is a big contribution and we're stoked to get these replacement parts. I gave Kelly my address, so in short order--a weekend or two-- I'll hang pictures of them installed.

Thanks again!

Tracy

Our contribution of materials cannot match all of the time your club has donated making this truck.

Thanks for everything you have been doing, and again, I apologize for the confusion.

I don't have parts but where can I buy a couple raffle tickets?

Never mind it looks like they are going to put it on ebay.
