Current battery was purchased/installed in 8/2012
Issue: Voltage light stays on
Initial Assessment: Checked belt tension, checked connections, cleaned everything I could an ran to Autozone where they stated that the truck was running on battery only.
Homework: checked FAQ's and used the search feature and gained lots of advice. My biggest dilemma is time and I wanted to ensure that prior to delving in to possibly changing the brushes, check voltage regulator, etc. is it safe to assume that my issue is most likely my alternator?
In the meantime I am charging the battery every night and blasting on my one mile commute to work.
In other words.......what would you do if you had these same symptoms?
