So what the hell are people doing about sealing their wing vents?

The piggie is going to the body shop and my rubber came apart when I removed the wing vents.

I am considering doing the same thing. The vent rubber is a molded rubber piece.

I'm not a fan of the one-piece windows that came on my '74...couldn't get them to roll all the way up when driving on the freeway. Air pressure would push them in or suck them out, I forget which, so I switched to wind wings.

FYI, you can convert the wing windows to the non wing type windows if you wish, this is what I plan to do on my 1970 fj55 project, I am not a fan of the wing windows anyhow....

You must have A/C in your pig or it dosen't get very hot where you live. I wish my newer vehicles had em';)

you might try wefco on the west coast; they can fabricate rubber extrusions as long as you have a sample to send them; they do a LOT of restoration rubber for very rare cars;
