I'm having a REALLY tough time deciding which coilover/struts to go with... many good options.. I have narrowed it down to these options........

--I like the adjustability and quality of the Tough Dogs but not sure they would yield enough lift for my taste(40mm)

-- Dobinson has 3 options- MRR, IMS and soon MRA
they yield about 50mm lift.

MRR - remote reservoir adjustable coilover, monotube
IMS- adjustable Monotube
MRA- coming soon , adjustable monotube and adjustable dampening like TD

Bilstein 6112- adjustable from 3/4 - 2.5" lift

I think these all would be quality options for sure. I value the options here and thought I would post up. I will eventually add a winch and bumper so weight is a factor...

Thanks Guys!

I can't speak to dobinson but in the years I've been working on cars bilstein has become the standard bearer for quality.

Good luck figuring it out.

I was under the impression that Bilstein only had a 41- - or 51- - series offering for the 200. I know they’ve been working on a “premium” solution (there’s a thread here on the forum), but last I saw no true ETA on availability.

I had 5160/6112 on my 4Runner and loved the setup. Would love to have that option for the 200.

Along the lines of the TD, Ive seen a few 200’s set up with Ironman Foam Cell Pro-they looked good- and owners were happy with the lift height and performance. Fwiw IM FCP are rebuildable, maintain good ride quality and perform quite well offroad- and beefy. For a heavy DD, the foam cells, IM or TD are worth consideration. The TD with adjustable valving seems like a nice feature.

Wait a week or two, I bet there will be some black friday deals going.

Bilstein will have a 200 series kit in next quarter for the past year. At this point there is no ETA. based on the responses from Bilstein.

the Bilstein 6112 offering is a Tundra app. since I'm now a shock expert :p I have noticed with the companies i research , the Tundra/200 offerings are almost identical and in some cases are the same exact part...
