Air injection rail check valve.
90917-10076
Discontinued about 15 to 20 years ago.
So is there a fix (after market)? Mine is cracked and when I pull the hose off - the inside seems to be deteriorating badly

Yea, very common.
Fwiw, I deleted the air injection system on my 91 while I was still subject to emissions testing. It makes no discernable difference since that system is only active in specific instances.
I replaced the air pump with a York compressor and built an OBA system in its place.
If you must keep it intact, then search on that part number for possible alternates.

Cruiserparts lists an Air Injection Rail Valve but doesn't indicate if it's used or not (?aftermarket) worth a call to find out:

Also here's a previous thread that discusses some options:

Thanks. I am talking to them about a new one - they also list a used but I don’t think I want to buy another 30 year old part. Just trying to verify it will work in fj80 as it has a slightly different part number.

Please keep in mind that CruiserParts is a frequent flier in the bad sellers section.

Check the dimensions, there's some discussion in the link above where an adapter was needed for a valve that wasn't exactly the same as the original.

I got one from CruiserParts.net last year, I had an okay experience with them. The tube twists if you don't have a wrench on the other side of the valve when loosening. I used a lot of PB Blaster.

Thanks for the tip. I was pretty direct with them about expectations of shipping if I paid for 3 day. They told me today or tomorrow will ship so maybe I’ll have it by Monday. I am headed to CA tomorrow and won’t be home til Monday night anyway. Not holding my breath.
