It is absolutely not a mark II B engine. The casting number alone confirms this, as does the shape of the rocker cover, which is not transferable between the Bii and earlier B engines. My B turned out to be a mark II B, these are characterised by rotary fuel pumps and on board vacuum pumps and 10 hole exhaust ( 1 and 4 have 3 holes) manifolds externally.
Internally they have 5 bearing camshafts and oil squirters and a few other thingy-ma-bobs.
I'm not sure if the original B had a rotary pump, so you may be lucky.
I had mine in a longwheel based land Rover and it did just fine especially with a ton and a half on Pommey drum brakes.
If it is a mk II and you want to turbo, then a 14BT manifold will fit,
My dream was to convert to an 11B by swapping fuel pump, head and pistons and then turboing it believing that direct injections turbo better. BUT then i got better and got a 76 Wagon with an HZ motor and never looked back.
Shout if you have the MK11 and need a manual.
The old B engines (1979-1988) came with rotary pumps in the Dyna/Toyoace in Japan.
