Help identifying a sensor (1 Viewer)

Ok so I have no pics but it's on the drivers side, right next to the water temp sensor near the water inlet.

I think it's the manifold temp sensor but I am not sure.

The plastic on it deteriorated when I was pulling it.

[Edit] Just to clairfy, it's a 3FE

Come on...someone here has to be able to help me. I have checked the FSM cover to cover and either I'm missing it or it's not mentioned.

Is it on the thermostat housing?
Is it on the left side of the intake?
The manifold temp sensor is on the manifold.

Trying to help, but some more info would go a long way.
