Did you spray for any leaks up on the manifold itself?
i did go all the way up in front, didn't find any leaks besides the middle area shown. I didn't remove any of the heat shields, but sprayed soapy water, listened, and put my hands on them didn't notice any air or bubbles

Any updates?
yes and no on the updates. The truck has been in and out of the shop twice this week for some brake issues, so currently it's there now.

Earlier in the week though i had them put the new passenger side gasket in, using the new bolts i bought. Driving home from there i still had fluttering noise though. Better, but not gone. Either way still happy they were able to get the new gasket in there without having to change anything else. They didn't do any leak testing or anything themselves, they just put the gasket in that i had told them was the issue.

The driver's side leak that has the hi temp adhesive over it there wasn't anything they could do for. My tech's advice was either try the adhesive, or go to a muffler shop to get them to cut that section out. That leak is so small, so i'm gonna at least try just to put some hi temp JB weld over the seam. So, need to find a time this weekend to try that....and we shall see. I'll update after. The puzzle still isn't solved. Wish i had one of those cool leak detecting smoke machines
