Help Diagnose My A/C (1 Viewer)

My a/c blows ice cold when I first start it up in the morning after it's sat in the garage overnight. It will blow cold for the duration of that drive. However, once it sits in the parking lot somewhere and the sun heats up the truck (Tucson, AZ), it doesn't blow cold at all. The air will eventually cool down after 10 minutes of driving or so. I charged the system a while back thinking it may be low, but that didn't seem to help.

Any ideas?

Check your fan clutch. You'll need to put gauges on it to see what's happening with the AC system.


My guess is the car gets hot, ac pressures go up and it shuts down the compressor.
