Help, Carb identification!

I am looking for the original carb for my 65/66 FJ45 LWB. I have been told this is the one. I cannot verify with the manuals I have and research I have done. Can you help with this identification? Any help/information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

not an expert, but I'd say NO. it should look like this

Not an expert either, by any stretch of the imagination. It looks like I need to look for an big window sight glass. Does this year have a solenoid as well?

That may be a Carter carb. You need a single barrel, large sight glass or peep glass. Yes, it should have a solenoid. The single barrels pop up here and on Ebay every once and a while.

The large windows don't have a cut-off solenoid, small windows do, based only on the ones I've had. My '67 ('64 production date frame #) was not wired for a solenoid, but did not have the stock carb when I got it. Not sure when the change from big glass to small happened.

Found this one on e-bay. It is being advertised as a 10/69-09/71 carb, does this look to be correct? Can anyone verify this or is there a part number on it that I can inquire about? It appears to have a large sight glass, unknown on the solenoid. Thanks again..

no selenoid on big sight glass carbs.

That looks like the carb you want,its not a 10/69 to 9/71.

looks like a rochester carb for a chevy.

I thought big window carbs were blue base/window tin until 64, 65-67 were gray, 68, were a small sight glass.

Id's SD-40 E-67, 68 it became D-40.
