I’m stumped. I’ve swapped the bulbs and little black inserts between all the dash cluster lights and yet the same slot (upper left) refuses to illuminate. All the bulbs and black thingies (technical term) work in the other slots.

I’ve hit each hole w a meter and they’re all getting power. Ironically, the bottom left is getting less power but still working yet the one above it is getting more power and not. I have the electrical skills of a
Neanderthal, so I’m still learning (to not electrocute myself). Any ideas about what’s going on?

If you inspect the little black thingies, you'll see that there are two copper ears that make contact with the copper track on the pcb - they each have a small nipple.
Make sure that they stand proud enough to make contact.
Otherwise just clean them up and should be good 👍

Awesome, thank you! I'll report back
