Yeah it's a 105 series...SAS and manual was standard :)

My surf was a 1986 (bought off eBay originally and used it to learn ti weld, paint, etc).
The Patrol was a 2005 GUIV 3.0TD.

I regretted getting rid of the Surf, but the Patrol was OK.

The new Maxxis RAZR MT 35s are on and wow didn't it make the difference...well to be expected because the front left Kumho was losing 50% of its air over two days haha.

My Marks4WD extended braided brake lines have arrived...unfortunately I am overseas so won't be fitted for a couple of weeks.

Also just started enquiring in to a roof console so I have a neater switch panel off the dash!

Also fitted my little shower awning off the drivers side.

Car will go in for the bonnet and roof respray as the paint is completely stuffed on the bonnet, and the roof is a bit light.

Hi Karl, I went from a Surf to the LX470 about 12 years ago.
Never looked back.

Why are you not going to e-lockers? More reliable then air lockers in my opinion.

BTW, we are driving to Brisbane in 3 weeks t ime, we have to be there on 02/05/2024 for a competition at Sleeman.

Honestly just because ARB air lockers are used by my dad and he has never been let down!
Plus I have the compressor!

Hopefully breaking up the trip with things to do on the way! Hell of a drive to do in one run!

My dad goes over to WA every year for 6 months... I've never been!

We will do the trip East in 6 days, but going back will willdo it in 4 weeks.
Staying at Carnarvon Gorge, Mount Moffatt, doing the Sandover Highways to NT. Will be around10,000 kms.
