Work is taking me back to Chicago this week (11/28/06) until Friday. If anyone wants to get together on Wed night for drinks/food/etc, let me know. I have all sorts of places near the hotel or I can drive somewhere to meet up with folks. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Express on Butterfield and I-355.
I'll try to bring some of the sunshine with me
Let's see, what's new at my end...The Ali family has been settling into the house on the mountain.. Wife has been updating inside the house like a mad woman. We're getting ready for the winter up here, although it hasn't been much to speak of. Temps been hovering in the 60s in teh daytime and 30s in the nighttime. I gotta cut down the dead trees around the property for fire wood. The new Stihl Chainsaw is down right fun and scary at the same time. I almost wish I can find a hockey goley mask to wear when I cut wood ;p
Let's see, not much new in the vehicle dept I guess. My cruiser received Slee 4" springs and I'm currently welding in adjusters to all suspension location components. Hopefully all of this effort will bring the axle and the pinon back to proper geometry. I'm hoping to be done by today and get her aligned. Michele's 80 blew a head gasket on the way to the SEMA show so I'll need to start on that some time soon. She misses her Cruiser big time and doesn't like driving the Grand Cherokee anymore!
What's new with you folks? How was everyone's Turkey day? I've been still eating turkey sandwiches for the last few days with no end in sight!
