My 2005 LX470 blows very hot air when in auto mode. And the heat does not stop while the truck runs, regardless of temperature setting. I showed it to a Toyota dealer who said something like "a couple or three actuators may have gone bad and will need to be replaced, but that requires removing the control panel and will be at least 10 hrs of labor!!" They did check the temperature sensors and some other settings which as per them were working fine. I can change the fan speed but the temperature of air blowing does not change. A/C seems to work (if I move to max cold mode, cannot check regular operation as it is too cold for A/C to kick in on its own.

Has anyone had this sort of issue before or any idea as to what may be happening.

Perhaps this query has been addressed but I could not find it (I am a new member so pardon my ignorance).
