Looking for a second opinion. Working on my 1996 HZJ75 and slowly getting more of my dashboard to function. Next step is my heater. This blower motor had some water intrusion and is pretty rusted over (see photos) but I verified I am getting 12V to the connection when the heater is switched on.

Thought I would check with the group before pulling the trigger to see if anyone has done a similar repair and spent less than the 190 USD part. My socket looks like the one below
