Headlights. (1 Viewer)

Having a problem with my LH headlights. Both are out. Have checked the fuses and am getting power to the plugs on the back of the lights. Checked the bulbs and they are working. Wont work when switched on. I have had the bulbs out and they work. Any ideas? Is there a common earth that can cause troubles? Thank you in advance.

The diagram is for the 1997 model year, so still 80 series. I doubt other years are much different though.

What was the issue in the end?

Almost embarrassed to say. Dual filament failure. When I pulled out the bulb at first I checked the filament and it seemed ok. Tested it on a battery and it worked. Put it back and didn't work. The filament was lose. The main outside light was blown on both filaments and different to book style. Had 2 beams (H4 style). Had to work out how get them out.
