Headlight Warning Buzzer

Hi.

Do our trucks have them? Since I have owned this truck, I have never heard a warning buzzer if my lights are left on, key is out and door opened.

My 89 pickup didn't either, really bugged me too since I ended up with a dead battery a few times....

My 85 4runner has the most annoying head light alarm I have ever heard! I love it, lets me know I am a dumb a$$

My '92 4Runner had one.

I think Radio Shack sells a little kit so you can add one.

Yeah, I am thinking there is just not one. The 4 Runnner was considered a step up so it makes sense to have one there I guess.

Headlight Alarm

Dont need the LED but the rest of the circuit looks good. A cheap fix.

I wonder if you could rewire the key buzzer to work for the lights??? IE: door open and lights on it buzz' instead of door open and key in?

you know what i need, is a smoke screen, flame throwers and a machine gun on my truck.

my runner has the headlight beeper deal, no trucks i have ever seen had them

I've got one, to me it's about as irritating as the key buzzer. It would be nice to swap in something like a Honda key/light chime.
