Okay, I have replaced my push-rod cover gasket and still have an oil leak:censor: . It looks like it is coming from either the head or the timing gear cover:confused: . The oil is appearing at the front of the block behind the timing gear cover at the level where the head meets the block and than trails down the right side of the motor. Can a head gasket go bad leaking oil out onto the block? Or does this sound like a cracked head? No oil in the coolant and no coolant in the oil, no smoke, starts right up cold, power is, well its a 2b with 33's, so I guess power is okay.

Thanks
Kris

how much oil does it leak? Is it a small stain after a long drive, or a drip on the driveway after each night?

yes, common problem with the 3B. unless it is dripping quickly i would leave it alone, the ones i have seen leaking have been doing so for decades...

I would fix a leak if I had drips on the driveway. Small stain I would wipe every once and awhile. IMOP. These engines are pretty old and have been rattled for years. I would be surprised to see one with out a leak.
