HDJ81 wire both 12V batteries for Winch (1 Viewer)

How feasible would it be to wire both my 12V batteries in parallel to power my truck, specifically my factory winch. It seems a waste to not provide double the current to my winch but I don't wish to interfere with my 24 starting system. Has anyone done this?

I suspect it's already set up that way.

If the vehicle is doing anything other than starting the batteries are already in parallel so you are already using current from both. If you are worried about the amount of draw on the factory wiring, you could upgrade the cable that runs between them through the switchover relay. I'm not sure it would be necessary though.
