HD-T Serial Number Dates (motor number)

Let's post up Hd-T serial numbers (hz too, if you like)

I have what I was told is an hd-t from a 1993 vehicle.
Serial Number is 0071790
It does have the oil level sensor, which I believe suggests post-1992.

The serial number on my hd-t is at the upper corner of the block, below the head gasket, under the #6 cylinder. Above and aft of the oil filter.

Would be curious to see other's information (and this could be a good resource for people shopping for used motors).

Anyone else got any numbers so I can try and get an approximate date for mine?

Your engine no is really close to mine should be the same year 1994. With fuel pump no 22100-17620. Look for no RED colour on top of the turbo boost intake pipe, this will lead you to late 1HDT engine and fuel pump no. If you are looking for a second hand engine.

Yes! Exactly. No red "TURBO" colour is the late model. The fuel pump no must be 22100-17620. Check out these 2 little things.

Reviving an old thread for data points.

Did not know what year my donor came from but most likely came from a 93 from what I'm seeing from this thread:

Engine does not have the TURBO painted red in the crossover pipe, has the oil level unit on the pan, 22100-17620 injection pump number and best as we can read a serial number of 0064832.

The 1HDT in my 78 series (Troopy) was a transplant from and 80 series. I don’t have clear notes from the last owner on what year the donor vehicle was.

Can anyone reference 0041421 for me and give me an idea of the year it was made? Maybe even tell me the model transmission that was mated to the 1HDT?
