Hmm. Checked out the pics on the site, in their photo gallery. Seems the DJ that's in the bottom portion of the page has an idiot driver... So y'all shouldn't get damage...

Looks like lots of boulders. Cool... Looks like sliders are needed. Seems like if wet, it's thick mud... Judging from the way there is a s*** ton of mud slung, it's sloppy, but not sticky. Doesn't look like a terrible amount of trees to slide I to, pics look mostly flat, meaning dirts not already off camber before the rocks. I like that part.

I'll check out YouTube tomorrow to see if there are videos... On a side note, on the iPad at least, probably 30% of pics didn't show...

I'm down as of now... I'm thinking of this instead of Sicily. I'll just wait a 2 weeks. Plus, I might get to see snow... :). I'll talk with my buddies and see.

2x 62's on a trail.. That is beautiful.

Video showing a bunch of different trails, in the related, there are a couple cool ones showing different areas of the park..

There are a bunch of different videos. Just search the hawk pride orv park. I personally really wanna go, there are a couple trails on the videos that look cool... I would probably drive up the Wednesday. Stay a couple hours out the park, then finish the drive Thursday morning. Then week until Sunday afternoon and replete getting home the Monday. Or leave Sunday morning and drive all the way.

I talked with dad, and as of right now he's off that whole week...

I'll talk with my friends and see if they wanna go. But I really wanna try something new. Plus, with school.. I won't be able to make the trip in February or march to super lift.. Too many classes on Thursday and Friday. So this will be the only big trip for a while... I'm getting excited. Looks like a lot of trails are hill climbs, but seems this is only a small percentage, They have like 110 trails now I read on one of the videos...

One of the videos, it had poured like three days before their ride, and the mud seems like down here, Just gooey, but a hard bottom, Seems like it cleans pretty well on most of their tires, just takes a little wheel speed. Yuk.

I hope for snow...

Great videos! Thanks for the research. i am getting very excited about going.

Am i missing something, or do buggies destroy trails with the spinning of their over sized tires. To me, it just seems like all rthey do is use horsepower and size to thrash their way up the hill. Very little picking lines or finesse. Like I said, am I missing something?

Depends on the terrain and what they are trying to accomplish. We watched 2 smaller buggies do Boat Ramp at Mount Chocula and they did a slow crawling finesse ascent. It was the only way they were going to make it up as slick as the rock was.

I'm excited and look forward to going!

The trailer should be ready

dontcha wanna?

Been talking about it more and at the moment we are in Erick.

Who did you say you sold that winch mount to? Cause if I want to finish my trailer for the trip I won't have the time to also make the mount :(

Also I should be getting some lights as a present so I was wondering if you brought up night wheeling with the park owner?

He gave that mount to Chris C. (4x4Fishin).......and he didn't want me to say but he just sold his FJC so he may be willing to let the mount go. sssshhhhhhhhhh........

Yep, he has them I was hoping he would give them to you but I haven't asked.

I need to call about night wheeling.

dontcha wanna?

Yes I do wanna night wheel.

We are thinking about going up earler, since both Suzi and my work will be slow.

Just for the ease of it. I was thinking leave around noon wensday. Drive 4/5 hours that afternoon. Find place to stay. Wake up early and drive the remaining 4-5 hours that morning and get to the park around 8/9 o clock. It'll brake up the trip for me.

I think we're looking at Thursday or Friday.

But I'll have to see if I can take vacation

dontcha wanna?

I always have to balance kids and us time, do we may leave late Thursday night after they are asleep. That way we can get a full day of wheeling on Friday an Saturday. Unless anyone wants to leave super early Friday.

I assume everyone is thinking about leaving Sunday morning at some point?

Again. I really don't want to do 9,5 hours straight. So either Sunday morning and stay sound new Orleans Sunday night. Or leave Sunday noon and sleep a couple hours from Nola.
