Hola all,
I’m getting some sliders made at 4xinnovations.

http://www.4xinnovations.com/pages/guarding/sliders.htm

I’ve got two problems:
1) they are in Wisconsin and I’m in Chicago
2) I’ve can only get out there once.

Wouldn’t do it like this if my schedule wasn’t so horrible.
So I have to take pictures of the my 60 and measure the frame so that he can make these sliders for me.

I am wondering is any one can school me on how long they should be?
What all I should measure?
Angle?

I want to make sure this is done right.

And any other advice ya’ll can help me with would be appreciated

Patrick

my advice is to reconsider who is makings them for you and contact jim from sror.

What he said, it may be better to buy from someone who makes these all the time and knows the vehicle and best dimensions well.

That being said off the top of my head I think 67" is what some are using, but don't hold me to it.

i am pretty sure that is correct.

I am horribly poor and my girlfriend is buying them for me.

She gave me a limited budget and they were able to help me out.

Jim at SROR makes some amazing gear but he is way out of my league.

Hoping to get those best dimensions from all you intelligent folks.

Thanks for your input

Patrick

looks like 4xinnovations is about the same price. Hit up the local cruiser club and see if any one will weld them for you. a case of beer has gotta be cheaper then the gas to have them do it for you.

X - 2

Marlin sends them out on UPS everyday.

how about buying Marlins 68" sliders and finding someone with a welder to burn them on for you?

Marlin Crawler : Bumpers and Trail Armor

fyi the Marlin the 68" sliders are made for the pickups, so they are about 1-2"s too long. cut and weld a steel freeze plug(5 bucks at napa) to cap them off.
